Vila Montrose combines the refurbishment of a centenary chalet with modern living at the heart of Monte Estoril

New residential condominium, totalizing 24 units, already started its sale process

Recover heritage with history and bring it to modernity, is the distinctive proposal of the new residential condominium Vila Montrose, which will rise at the heart of Monte Estoril, a few steps from Avenida Sabóia and Marginal. The project fully preserves the 125 years old chalet, which gives name to it, developing a real estate complex around it that, besides the property refurbishment of its original elements, will give birth to new buildings. Comprising 23 apartments from 1 to 4 bedroom and a 4- bedroom villa, on about 5.000 sq.m., Vila Montrose will also have two swimming pools and a romantic private garden, besides the residents’ private parking.

The sale process of the residential units began last week, which is in charge of JLL/Cobertura and Porta da Frente/Christies’s, who are confident about the sales rhythm, advancing that the project, will be promoted for national and international clients.

Patrícia Barão, JLL Head of Residential, says: “Estoril and Cascais areas are, since ever, a preferred destiny for our premium segment for first residence, whether for Portuguese or foreigners living in Portugal. The exclusive lifestyle associated to this area will be very attractive for this two audiences which, combined with a distinctive project like Vila Montrose, makes us very optimistic on the success of the selling”.

Developed by Estoril Real Estate, Vila Montrose condominium will be the result from the refurbishment of the chalet from the end of the XIX century with the same name, which hosted royalty and renowned entrepreneurs, bankers and diplomats. The project will honour and preserve the manor house architecture of this centenary asset, as well as recovering the old house of the sharecroppers and the stabling areas, already existing at the property, besides of the romantic inspired private garden, built by the second owner in 1990. At the old chalet will rise three new 2, 3 and 3+1 apartments, with areas between 152 and 179 sqm, while the old house of the sharecroppers will be recovered to be transformed in a unique 4+1-room single family home, with 427 sqm, including a wide terrace and a private garden. Vila Montrose also includes new buildings next to the stables area, with a total of 20 apartments, with areas between 77 and 259 sqm, from 1 to 4 bedrooms. The garden that links all the property, with about 4.000 sqm, will allow the other residents to enjoy the two swimming pools.

The finishes and equipment were carefully selected  with high-quality  materials  and, at the same time, neutral so each family will be able to give to the apartment their own decorating style. The project benefits from its interior layout, spacious spaces for private or social use and provides terrace areas, balconies and widewindows so that residents can enjoy the unique view over the Atlantic Ocean, located just 300 meters from the condominium. To guarantee owners comfort, the project has a private parking with capacity for 63 vehicles, as well as storage areas.

Vila Montrose construction will start at the end of the last quarter of the current year, and it conclusion is expected to be on the Q4 of 2018.
