Market Pulse Portugal Q4 2014

The economic indicators outlook for the period 2014-2016 is in general positive. The investment volume in 2014 more than doubled the 2013 volume. This market is characterized by dynamism and diversity, and the great majority of the invested capital in 2014 had origin from foreign investors. The office volume transacted grew about 63%, it is expected that this growing trajectory will remain in the next year, in line with the resumption of real estate strategies of companies, that enjoy the moment that is, still, tenant friendly. In the retail market the high demand of unit shops remained, reflecting itself in the rents growth. Both in high street and shopping centres the difference between prime and secondary assets remains.
