The year of 2019 embodies the punchline of the decade. And what a punchline, considering that, as a country, we went through one of the most challenging periods of our current history. During the first half of the decade, we were the object of foreign intervention amid a backdrop of an unprecedented widespread international crisis. In the real estate market the drop was precipitous, but the rebound was so intense that we reached 2018 reflecting historic peaks and the year of 2019 consolidated these thresholds. Almost half (46%) of all real estate investment and one-third (29%) of occupied office space in these 10 years is concentrated solely in the last two years. And what to say regarding the residential market, completely reborn and one in which, providing forecasts are confirmed, again a third of domestic homes sold over the decade will have been traded solely in the last two years, both in numbers (30%) and value (33%).
