Porque ainda sobem os precos das casas?
Os números do desequilíbrio entre oferta e procura não enganam. Os dados do Instituto Nacional de Estatística (INE) mostram que, nos últimos quatro anos, foram transacionadas cerca de 590.000 casas em Portugal, mas concluídas apenas 63.000. Ou seja, para cada casa nova que surge no mercado, temos procura para comprar nove.

Devemos (Portugal) proibir que os estrangeiros comprem casa cá?
Por um lado, a subida forte dos preços nos últimos anos deve-se à incapacidade da oferta em satisfazer a procura. Os números não enganam. Entre 2015 e 2022 foram vendidas cerca de 1.000.000 de casas em Portugal, mas construídas apenas 92.500 (dados INE). Por cada casa concluída foram vendidas 11.
